The SOC in its original state as seen during an early visit on 10 Oct 2008. Pristine water and soft white sandy beach except for man-made debris which drifted from the town, Tanjung Uban, located in the northwest. Mobilization of a gang of cleaners rectified this.
Although the early visits were in Sep and Oct 2008, it took one whole year to sort out the paper work in order to take over the place. In Singapore, it would have taken me less than 3 months. The journey started in 2007.
Nonetheless, it is well worth the wait and effort.
